Al-Modawat Specialized Medical Co. said it received approval from the relevant authorities to increase its intensive care unit (ICU) capacity by 104% through the reclassification of existing beds.
In a statement to Tadawul, the company said the expansion will not affect the hospital’s total licensed capacity, which remains unchanged at 100 beds.
The company added that this step reflects the success of its investments in developing infrastructure and specialized services.
This move also enhances Al-Modawat’s operational capacity to accommodate rising demand and strengthens the hospital’s position as an advanced center for critical care and major surgeries in the region.
