RIYADH — The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has advised workers, whose wages and salaries have been delayed, to follow a series of steps, provided that the contract signed with the employer has attained the status of an enforceable document. The ministry explained that the first step is to verify the enforceability of the contract. If the contract has been documented or updated after October 2025, it is considered an enforceable document. The next step is to access the Qiwa platform to confirm that the worker’s documented employment contract has acquired enforceable status. If 30 days have elapsed from the wage due date without the employer paying the full amount owed, the worker or employee may directly submit an enforcement request through the Najiz platform.Under the initiative, this process does not require filing a labor lawsuit or undergoing the amicable settlement procedure for those cases covered by the initiative.
