Tadawul trading screen
Foreign institutions on the Main Market (TASI) were net buyers of stocks worth SAR 986.2 million during the week ended May 21, the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) said in its latest weekly report. 
Foreign institutions accounted for 49.4% of total buy transactions and 46% of total sell trades on TASI.
Foreign individual investors were net buyers of shares worth around SAR 12.5 million.
In contrast, Saudi individuals were net sellers of shares worth SAR 1.51 billion, including SAR 300.6 million by retail individual investors, SAR 389.7 million by high-net-worth individual investors, SAR 767 million by qualified individual investors and SAR 47.8 million by managed individual portfolios.
Saudi corporates were net buyers of shares worth SAR 313.3 million, mainly driven by companies, which recorded net purchases of about SAR 518.2 million, followed by managed portfolios at SAR 82.2 million. Meanwhile, investment funds and government entities were net sellers at SAR 85.7 million and SAR 201.5 million, respectively.

In contrast, Saudi individuals were net sellers of shares worth SAR 1.51 billion, including SAR 300.6 million by retail individual investors, SAR 389.7 million by high-net-worth individual investors, SAR 767 million by qualified individual investors and SAR 47.8 million by managed individual portfolios.
Saudi corporates were net buyers of shares worth SAR 313.3 million, mainly driven by companies, which recorded net purchases of about SAR 518.2 million, followed by managed portfolios at SAR 82.2 million. Meanwhile, investment funds and government entities were net sellers at SAR 85.7 million and SAR 201.5 million, respectively.
