LIVA Insurance Co.’s board of directors agreed to appoint Mohamed Altooblanias CEO, effective May 24, 2026, after the Insurance Authority (IA) noted no-objection. 
In a statement to Tadawul, the company said Altooblani served as Acting CEO since March 2025. He has also held the position of CFO since June 2023.
Altooblani has over 18 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance sector. Prior to joining the company, he held senior finance roles including regional finance head at Chubb MENA and head of financial control at AIG Takaful Bahrain, in addition to earlier experience in auditing.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Ahlia University, Bahrain, the statement added.
