MAKKAH — The police in Makkah region arrested a Saudi citizen for committing fraud and deception by issuing forged permits to enter Makkah.In another incident, security patrols in Makkah arrested two Indonesian residents for committing fraud by posting advertisements on social media offering fake and misleading Hajj services. They were found in possession of forged Hajj cards and tools used in the fraud. All the arrested three people were referred to the Public Prosecution after taking the necessary legal procedures.The General Directorate of Public Security urged citizens and expatriates to comply with Hajj regulations and instructions and to promptly report any violations by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province and 999 in the rest of the Kingdom.
