Cherry Trading Co. board of directors appointed of Zaid Al Nasser as Acting CEO and Nasser Alomaier as Managing Director, effective June 1, 2026. 
Al Nasser possesses vast leadership and executive experience in operations and customer service, spanning several years. He has contributed to developing operational processes, enhancing efficiency, improving customer experience, and building high-performing teams, Cherry said in a statement to Tadawul.
Al Nasser holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University.
In a separate statement, Cherry said Alomaier holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Georgia State University in Atlanta, US.
Alomaier served as General Manager of Alomaier Trading and Contracting Group (OTC) between 1987 and 2017, where he helped it transform into one of the leading companies in the roads and contracting sector.
He also served on the boards of several companies across human resources, finance, and investment sectors, and led the establishment and development of successful entities, most notably Al Mawarid Manpower Co., which later listed in the Saudi market.
The new MD also successfully led Cherry’s restructuring process, helping transition the company from distress to a phase of growth and profitability.
According to Argaam data, Cherry approved in April the resignation of CEO and board member Abdulaziz Alsowail.
