Amana Cooperative Insurance Co.appointed board member Bashar Kayyali as Managing Director (MD), effective May 3, for a six-month term. 
Kayyali’s status on the board has been changed to an executive member, according to a statement to Tadawul.
Amana Insurance’s board approved the appointment on April 20 and received the Insurance Authority’s non-objection on April 30.
Kayyali holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Jordan. He is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and has experience in financial and management consulting.
