US President Donald Trump warned Iran on Saturday against attempting to “blackmail” Washington after Tehran moved to close the Strait of Hormuz again in response to the continued US naval blockade of Iranian ports. 
“We’re talking to them,” Trump said at the White House. “They wanted to close up the strait again… as they’ve been doing for years. They can’t blackmail us.”
