The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources issued 221 new industrial licenses in February 2026, while 112 new factories began production during the same month, according to a report by the ministry’s National Industrial and Mining Information Center.
The newly licensed projects represent investments exceeding SAR 2.6 billion and are expected to create more than 1,995 jobs across various regions of the Kingdom.
Meanwhile, factories that commenced operations in February accounted for SAR 890 million in investments and are projected to generate 1,902 jobs.
