GCC seeks permanent solution for regional crisis

RIYADH — The General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) welcomed the announcement of a ceasefire between the United States of America and Iran.In a statement, the secretariat underlined the significance of concerted regional and international efforts to reach a permanent solution to end this crisis in order to ensure the security and stability of the region and the world.The GCC general secretariat praised the significant efforts exerted by Pakistan as well as those of other regional and international parties in achieving the ceasefire. It called for an end to the ongoing conflict.
