JEDDAH — Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received a telephone call from Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday, during which the two leaders reviewed developments in the region.During the call, the Pakistani prime minister condemned the ongoing Iranian attacks targeting facilities in Saudi Arabia, describing them as a serious violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and a dangerous escalation that threatens regional security and stability.He reaffirmed Pakistan’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its continued support for the Kingdom.He assured the Crown Prince that the people and government of Pakistan stand “shoulder to shoulder” with the Kingdom.Sharif also briefed the Crown Prince on Pakistan’s mediation efforts, undertaken in coordination with other countries, to help de-escalate tensions in the region.
