Foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows to Saudi Arabia reached SAR 48.4 billion in Q4 2025, a 90% rise year-on-year (YoY), according to data by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).
Compared to Q3 2025, net FDI inflows grew 82%.
The value of FDI inflows into the Saudi economy reached approximately SAR 50.6 billion in Q4 2025, up 29% YoY.
FDI outflows amounted to around SAR 2.19 billion, dropping 84% YoY.

This means that a foreign investor, whetherindividual oras part of a group, holds 10% or more of the voting power of the shares, enablingshareholdersto exercise control or influence over decision-making to serve their interests. As such, this process is classified asFDI.
The FDI survey covers all major economic activities, as per the national classification of economic activities (ISIC4).
