Saudi Arabia’s East-West pipeline is currently operating at its full capacity of 7 million barrels per day (bpd), Bloomberg reported, citing a source.
Crude exports via Yanbu are estimated at around 5 million bpd, while refined product exports range between 700,000 and 900,000 bpd, the source said.
Nearly 2 million bpd out of the 7 million bpd flowing through the pipeline are directed to domestic refineries.
Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed Al Jadaan recently said heavy investment in the East-West pipeline helped mitigate the impact of the global energy crisis.
