DOHA — Qatar said Thursday that civil defense teams have fully extinguished all fires at Ras Laffan Industrial City following Iranian missile strikes, confirming that no injuries were reported.The Interior Ministry said containment and security operations remain ongoing at the site, with explosive disposal teams deployed to secure the area.QatarEnergy confirmed that multiple LNG facilities in Ras Laffan — located about 80 kilometers north of Doha — were hit overnight, causing fires and significant damage.The incident comes amid escalating regional tensions since the United States and Israel launched a joint offensive on Iran on Feb. 28, which has killed around 1,300 people so far.Iran has since retaliated with drone and missile attacks targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets, causing casualties and infrastructure damage across the region.
