Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef affirmed the leadership’s commitment to supporting and empowering the private sector as a key partner in economic development, addressing challenges it may face to ensure business continuity, enhance operational readiness of national factories, and strengthen the resilience of local and global supply chains. 
According to a ministry statement, this came during his meeting with members of the Industrial Center, the Mining Partnership Council, and private sector leaders in the Kingdom to discuss government efforts to address challenges in the industrial and mining sectors.
The meeting reviewed initiatives across the industry and mining ecosystem, as well as the transport and logistics ecosystem and the General Food Security Authority, alongside integrated efforts with other national entities to address private sector challenges, particularly those related to logistics services, supply chains, and exports.
