Saudi air defenses destroy 37 drones over the Eastern Province

RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense announced that 37 drones were intercepted and destroyed over the Eastern Province since early Tuesday morning.The first announcement came when six drones were intercepted in the middle of the night.Four hours later, three more drones were intercepted in the Eastern Province, followed by three more intercepted.A couple of hours later six more drones were reportedly intercepted and destroyed in the Eastern regions, followed by the interception of two drones in the same region.Twelve drones were then intercepted an hour later.Later in the morning the ministry announced that an additional two drones were intercepted over the Eastern Province, with three more following the hour after.
