RIYADH — Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with the United Kingdom’s Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs Yvette Cooper at the ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh on Thursday.During the meeting, they reviewed the strategic relations and areas of bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries. The ministers discussed regional developments, and joint efforts with regard to addressing them. During the meeting, Cooper expressed her country’s condemnation of the brutal attacks launched by Iran against Saudi Arabia and a number of countries in the region. She affirmed her country’s solidarity with the affected countries and the necessity of concerted efforts to move the region towards stability and peace. Dr. Saud Al-Sati, undersecretary of the ministry for political affairs, also attended the meeting.
