RIYADH — Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman held talks with Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Jeddah on Thursday. During the meeting, they reviewed the close bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to further strengthen and promote them in various fields. The Crown Prince and the Pakistani prime minister discussed regional developments, particularly the repercussions of the ongoing military escalation on the security and stability of the region and the world. They also reviewed the coordinated efforts in this regard. Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban and President of the General Intelligence Directorate Khalid Al-Humaidan also attended the meeting. From the Pakistani side, the meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defense Forces Gen. Syed Asim Munir.
