RIYADH — Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom’s strong condemnation of the targeting of the Consulate General of the United Arab Emirates in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.In a statement released Tuesday, the ministry said the repeated targeting of diplomatic buildings “clearly violates international law,” citing the Geneva Conventions.The statement also stressed the importance of respecting the sanctity of diplomatic missions and their premises.The ministry concluded by reaffirming Saudi Arabia’s solidarity with the United Arab Emirates.
