DUBAI — Emirates said all scheduled flights to and from Dubai will remain suspended until 23:59 on March 7 UAE time due to widespread airspace closures across the region.According to the Emirates flight schedules portal, the suspension was extended as the conflict between the United States and Israel on one side and Iran on the other entered its fifth day.The extension comes as Iran continues launching missiles and drones toward neighboring countries in the region.The United Arab Emirates and Qatar said Wednesday they intercepted missiles and drones launched from Iran as the attacks on Gulf countries entered their fifth day.In a statement posted on X, the UAE Ministry of Defense said its air defenses successfully intercepted three ballistic missiles and detected 129 drones, of which 121 were intercepted while eight fell inside the country.Meanwhile, the Qatari Defense Ministry said its air and naval forces intercepted two cruise missiles and 10 drones launched from Iran.
