​DOHA — QatarEnergy said it has stopped production of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and associated downstream products following missile and drone attacks targeting facilities in the country.The company announced that it is suspending the production of several downstream products in Qatar, including urea, polymers, methanol, aluminum and other outputs.On Monday, QatarEnergy ceased LNG production and related operations at facilities in Ras Laffan Industrial City and Mesaieed Industrial City due to what it described as “military attacks.”In recent days, multiple explosions have been reported in the country. Qatar’s Defense Ministry said it has detected the launch of three cruise missiles, 101 ballistic missiles and 39 suicide drones toward its airspace since US and Israeli attacks on Iran began.
