RIYADH — Officials from the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) have carried out a total of 3,164 inspection tours during the last month of February. These inspections resulted in carrying out investigations about charges against 349 government employees.A total of 78 employees were arrested over charges of corruption and abuse of power and some of them released on bail.The employees belonged to Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, Ministry of Health, and Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.A number of criminal and administrative cases were registered as part of Nazaha’s ongoing efforts to promote integrity and combat corruption in government entities.
