Saudi Arabia’s exports of chemical industry products and related goods fell 13% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 6.67 billion in December 2025, the General Authority for Statistics reported.
Compared with November 2025, chemical exports rose by SAR 213.2 million, or 3%.
Chemicals and related products made up 21% of the Kingdom’s non-oil exports, which totaled SAR 31.7 billion in December.

China was the largest importer of Saudi chemical industry products in December 2025, receiving SAR 897.1 million worth, or 13.5% of total exports, which stood at SAR 6.67 billion.

The United States and India followed with 10.3% and 9.2%, respectively, while Australia accounted for around 7.7%.

The UAE, Turkey, Egypt, Belgium, Singapore, and Bangladesh each held shares ranging between 3% and 4%, while other countries collectively represented 37.4% of total exports, amounting to SAR 2.49 billion.

Saudi Arabia’s imports of chemical industry products and related goods reached SAR 6.23 billion in December, down 8% YoY.

Chemical imports accounted for 7% of the total imports of SAR 84.2 billion,as shown in the following table:
