Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed Al-Rajhi issued a decision to amend the table of violations and penalties for the Labor Law and its executive regulations, to be effective immediately.
The decision comes as part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to develop the work environment and enhance its stability and growth.
It aims to support the stability of the labor market, protect the rights of workers, and increase the attractiveness and flexibility of the work environment, thereby contributing to the efficiency and sustainability of establishments, according to a statement.
The ministry also explained that the new amendments are in line with the amendments to the Labor Law and the subsequent amendment to its executive regulations.
The amendments included reclassifying a number of violations into specific categories according to the nature of the activities, thereby achieving greater clarity for establishments and workers.
