RIYADH — Hussain Al-Qahtani, spokesman of the National Center for Meteorology (NCM), said that some cities in the Kingdom have barely felt the winter cold this year. He noted that the weather has been warmer than usual due to the concentration of cold air masses, primarily over the central and northern regions. Al-Qahtani stated that a gradual rise in temperatures is now being observed, especially along the coasts, indicating the approaching end of the winter season. He stated that the Kingdom will bid farewell to the winter season in 12 days, with the upward trend in temperatures continuing in the coming period. He urged the public to follow weather updates so as to stay informed about the latest climatic developments.
