Tadawul trading screen
Foreign institutions were net buyers of SAR 1.7 billion worth of stocks on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) in the week ended Feb. 12, according to recent data issued by Tadawul. 
They accounted for 45.7% of total buy transactions in TASI, compared to 38.07% of total sell trades.
Meanwhile, foreign individual investors were net sellers of shares worth about SAR 31.2 million.
According to Tadawul’s weekly report on ownership value and trading value, direct purchases by foreign individual investors totaled around SAR 389.7 million, accounting for 1.75% of total turnover, compared to sell trades worth SAR 420.9 million.
The Capital Market Authority opened Saudi Arabia’s stock market to all categories of foreign investors effective Feb. 1, 2026, enabling them to invest directly.
Saudi retail investors and corporates were net sellers of shares worth SAR 1.38 billion and SAR 471 million, respectively.
