RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has called for the performance of Istisqa (rain-seeking) prayer throughout Saudi Arabia on Thursday, Feb. 12, the Royal Court said in a statement. The Royal Court urged the faithful to supplicate to God Almighty for forgiveness, repentance, good deeds, and rainfall. This is in line with following the Tradition of the Prophet (peace be upon him) to perform rain-seeking prayer during times of drought and late rain.
