Saudi Arabia will become a global model for building cities and destinations by using the latest technologies and materials and offering integrated services in a single location, Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khateeb said. 
Speaking at the Real Estate Future Forum, Al-Khateeb added that the world is changing and cities are evolving due to technology, building materials, and many other factors, emphasizing that Saudi Arabia is fortunate in its ability to keep pace with this transformation.
He added that Saudi Arabia is, in many cases, leading this change through mega-projects such as NEOM, the Red Sea, Diriyah, and Qiddiya, where future cities are being developed from the ground up, an advantage given the scale of capital, expertise, and advanced planning required for such developments.
