RIYADH — A Saudi air ambulance transported those sustained injuries in the bombing, which targeted Brig. Gen. Hamdi Shukri Al-Subaih’s convoy, from Aden International Airport to Riyadh to complete their treatment and provide special medical care in specialized hospitals, Al-Arabiya reported. This initiative comes within the framework of Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian and medical efforts and its commitment to providing urgent support to the injured and ensuring they receive advanced medical care, which will contribute to stabilizing their health and accelerating their recovery. A car bomb explosion hit Aden on Wednesday targeting a military convoy as it passed through one of the city’s northern districts. The convoy was carrying Brig. Gen. Hamdi Shukri, commander of the pro-government Second Division of the Giants Brigades, and his entourage. The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen strongly condemned the cowardly terrorist attack that targeted the convoy of Brig. Gen. Hamdi Shukri, commander of the Second Division of the Giants Forces, and his escorts in the Jaula area of Lahj governorate last Wednesday evening. The attack resulted in the deaths of five people and injury of three others. The Coalition spokesman Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki affirmed that this criminal act is contrary to all human and moral values, expressing its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs, and wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
