Saudi Gazette report DAVOS — Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, met on Thursday with Lebanese Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2026 in Davos, Switzerland. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the fraternal relations between Saudi Arabia and Lebanon and discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation across various fields. They also discussed the latest developments in Lebanon, with Prince Faisal reaffirming the Kingdom’s support for the Lebanese state. He praised the Lebanese government’s efforts to assert state sovereignty, restrict the possession of weapons to state institutions, and advance reform measures aimed at safeguarding Lebanon’s resources, stability, and territorial integrity.
