The Public Investment Fund (PIF) said that the expected cumulative impact of its subsidiary, aircraft leasing company AviLease, on the Kingdom’s gross domestic product (GDP) will reach SAR 11.25 billion by 2030.

PIF added — via its account on X today — that AviLease is projected to create 11,400 direct and indirect jobs.

AviLease plays a prominent role in attracting international capital to the Kingdom’s transport and aviation sector. It contributes to recovering around SAR 1.9 billion annually from lost economic value.

PIF noted that the company is considered a leading force in global aviation finance, enabling global fleets with highly fuel-efficient aircraft.

According to Argaam data, PIF launched its subsidiary AviLease in 2022. The company focuses on leasing, sales, and fleet management services, purchasing aircraft and leasing them back, executing direct purchase orders from aircraft manufacturers, in addition to an investment arm that includes acquiring portfolios and companies.
