However, the bank cut its average forecast for gold prices in 2026 to $4,587 an ounce, down from a previous estimate of $4,600, Reuters reported.

The bank on Wednesday also raised its forecast for silver prices this year to $68.25 an ounce, up from $44.50 previously.
