In a statement to Tadawul, the company said that these lands have been developed as part of off-plan sales projects and are currently in the marketing and ownership transfer stage to buyers, and it believes that they do not fall under the definition of “White Land” as stipulated in the regulations.

Accordingly, the company intends to submit objections to these invoices based on its statutory right to object to the fees, and will follow up on the required regulatory procedures in this regard, the statement added.

Ladun said it will disclose any other material developments should additional information be received or any updates arise in relation to these invoices or the objections submitted.

The company further affirmed its ongoing commitment to transparency and disclosure in a manner that serves the interests of shareholders and maintains the highest standards of governance and compliance with relevant regulatory provisions.

According to data available on Argaam, Ladun announced, in September 2025, that it does not expect any significant impact on it from the application of the newly amended White Land Tax Law.
