Faisal Al Atawi, Managing Director and CEO of Equipment House
Scientific and Medical Equipment House Co.’s (Equipment House) Managing Director and CEO Faisal Al Atawi said the infrastructure development project at King Fahd Hospital in Al-Baha represents a qualitative leap in the construction sector.
The project aims to upgrade the hospital’s vital systems to enhance operational efficiency and provide better healthcare services, alongside some civil works at certain hospital sites, Al Atawi told Al Arabiya.
The development is part of company’s other projects. It constitutes a positive addition to Equipment House’s strategic plan to diversify its project portfolio across the health, energy, and education sectors.
Al Atawi highlighted the company’s commitment to ensuring that every new project has a positive impact on profit margins, noting that the construction sector has seen continuous increases in certain contract awards over the past 12 months, contributing to higher profit margins across the company’s sectors.
The CEO confirmed that the company’s financial position is stable, supporting its ability to expand and take on major projects. He added that its current portfolioincludes several self-financed projects, based on the company’s financial stability. Equipment House also has strongagreements with multiple banks to provide financial facilities when needed.
According to data available on Argaam, Equipment House recently announced the award of a 24-month project with the Ministry of Health worth SAR 100 million to develop the infrastructure of King Fahd Hospital in Al-Baha.
The deal’s financial impact is expected to begin in the second quarter of fiscal year 2026.
