ADES’ Shelf Drilling secured a SAR 236 million, two-year contract with Brunei Shell Petroleum for offshore PA operations starting in late 2026
ADES Holding Co.’s wholly owned subsidiary, Shelf Drilling Ltd., secured a new contract for the compact driller standard jackup with Brunei Shell Petroleum Sdn. (BSP) at a total estimated value of SAR 236 million ($63 million), according to a statement toTadawul.
The contract has a term of two years. The jackup will be deployed to perform plug and abandonment (“PA”) operations at offshore Brunei. The compact driller is expected to commence operations in Brunei in Q4 2026 and will undergo contract preparation activities in Singapore ahead of the commencement. The rig is currently on contract in India until May 2026.
