The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) launched an instant licensing service for off-plan sales projects, reducing requirements by about 90% and enabling licences to be issued immediately once conditions are met, instead of waiting the previous 30 days. 
REGA said the service is provided through an automated electronic system that streamlines procedures, reduces manual intervention, and increases transparency.
The system also links with government and financing entities, allowing developers to meet requirements and secure funding faster, ensuring liquidity for more efficient project execution while strengthening verification of regulatory and financial obligations to protect buyers.
The Authority also announced, during Cityscape Global 2025, the start of integration with several local banks to automatically open escrow accounts, with plans to complete integration with the remaining banks soon.
