The boards of Almarai Co. and the National Agricultural Development Co. (Nadec) decided to appoint Abdulrahman Abdulmohsen AlFadley, Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, as a board member in both companies.

In separate statements, the dairy producers said the minister was appointed to fill the vacant seat on each board until the end of their current terms.

They added that the board resolutions are not final and will be presented at the next general assembly of each company for approval.

AlFadley holds extensive experience in the environment, water and agriculture sectors, as well as in the petroleum and food industries. He also has substantial expertise in leading major companies and developing institutional structures. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from King Saud University (KSU).
