Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih said total assets invested in the Saudi tourism sector increased fivefold since the launch of Vision 2030. 
For the same period, cash flows from foreign direct investment into hospitality have jumped by approximately eight times, he told a panel during the TOURISE 2025 conference.
Al-Falih added that Saudi Arabia has added 180,000 hotel rooms since the launch of the national tourism strategy.
He also noted that Saudi Arabia, if not being the best destination for investment given its vast capabilities, is among the frontrunners.
