Al Sagr Cooperative Insurance Co. is implementing a corrective plan to address its accumulated losses, which currently amount to about SAR 24 million, CEO Dalal Abdullah Burhan told Argaam.
Burhan explained that these losses came amid challenges faced by the entire insurance sector in 2025, compared to results seen over the past two years.
On the sidelines of ingate Global Insurance Conference Exhibition in Riyadh, Salama’s CEO stated that the company has started restructuring its insurance portfolio, which was previously focused mainly on medical and motor insurance. The company now aims to expand into general insurance, which is considered more profitable compared to other lines.
