Nama Chemicals Co. announced a power cut at its subsidiary, Jubail Chemical Industries Co. (JANA) as of today, Nov. 9. 
In a statement to Tadawul, the company attributed the electricity disconnection to outstanding dues owed by JANA to Saudi Electricity Co. (SEC).
Nama Chemicals’ board of directors and executive management are working with the relevant parties to resolve the issue and restore electricity services as soon as possible.
The company will carry out the necessary maintenance activities for the plants during the period of power outage, noting that it will also announce the relevant financial impact and any developments in due course.
