ACWA Power Co. received today, Nov. 4, a notice from Nawwar Renewable Energy Co. on the commercial operation of an additional 1,000 MW at the Ar Rass 2 solar plant in Qassim, Saudi Arabia. 
This brought the plant’s total capacity to 2,000 MW, the company said in a Tadawul statement.
ACWA Power owns 50.1% of the project, the financial impact of which is expected to show in Q4 2025.
