The Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) launched multiple criminal and administrative cases during October through 4,895 inspection tours.
The authority stated that it had investigated 478 individuals and arrested 100 suspects, some of whom were later released on bail, for their involvement in bribery and abuse of power cases.
Nazaha added that the detained individuals work in various government entities, including the Ministries of Interior, Municipalities and Housing, Education, Health, as well as Human Resources and Social Development.
