Riyadh Parking will activate managed free parking zones in West Olaya
Riyadh Parking announced the activation of managed free parking zones within residential neighborhoods, starting Nov. 2 in West Olaya District, according to the state-owned SPA. 
Residents of West Olaya will be required to obtain permits through the Riyadh Parking app ahead of the rollout of the managed parking system.
In August 2024, the Riyadh Municipality launched the first phase of the Riyadh Parking project, aimed at enhancing quality of life in the capital by organizing public parking and developing smart, innovative solutions to curb illegal and random parking practices.
So far, more than 30,000 managed parking spaces have been activated across the city.
