Saudi Investment Minister Khalid Al-Falih said the market capitalization of the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul), currently valued at around $3 trillion, is expected to grow by 20% over the next seven years.

Speaking at a session during the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) conference, Al-Falih noted that the value of family-owned companies continues to rise, adding that most businesses in Saudi Arabia originally started as family enterprises.

He added that the Kingdom aims to further empower and support family businesses.
