The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources issued 144 new industrial licenses in August, while 133 new factories began production during the same month, data from the National Industrial and Mining Information Center (NIIC) showed. 
Investments linked to these new licenses amounted to more than SAR 16.3 billion, with the related projects expected to create over 2,581 job opportunities across the Kingdom.
Investments in the factories that started production in August totaled SAR 14.2 billion with 8,416 new jobs created.
