Saudi Arabia expands access to Umrah for visitors under all visa types
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah confirmed that holders of all types of visas are allowed to perform Umrah during their stay in the Kingdom, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). 
The ministry explained that these visas include the personal and family visit visas, the electronic tourist visa (e-Visa), the transit visa, the work visa, and other types of visas.
This comes as part of the ministry’s efforts to facilitate procedures for the guests of Allah and to expand the number of beneficiaries of the services provided within the Hajj and Umrah system, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The ministry also noted that it has recently launched the “Nusuk Umrah” platform for those wishing to perform Umrah directly, enabling them to access the platform, select a suitable package, and obtain an Umrah permit electronically with ease. The platform provides a fully digital experience that allows users to book services and choose timings with flexibility.
