Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majid Al-Hogail said that real estate ownership rates in the Kingdom are growing well and have exceeded the targeted levels. 
Speaking at a Government Communication Conference held today, the minister added that rental levels have risen above normal rates, which required intervention after monitoring the situation and studying possible solutions.
Al-Hogail pointed out that there is a plan to launch a “build-to-rent” program.
He also said that the implementation of the new rental regulations program has started in Riyadh, highlighting that the government is monitoring the entire Kingdom with the aim of maintaining market stability.
