According to a report released by the Energy Information Administration (EIA), crude oil inventories shed 9.3 million barrels last week, reaching 415.4 million in total.

This came against forecasts of for stable stocks at 424.6 million barrels.

Likewise, gasoline stocks shrank by 2.3 million barrels, with distillate stocks, while includes diesel and heating oil, advanced by four million barrels.
