Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao said Beijing plans to strengthen cooperation with Saudi Arabia in renewable energy and supply chains, as well as expand bilateral trade. 
Wang told Saudi Investment Minister Khalid Al-Falih that both countries should work together to defend international trade rules and the global trading system, Asharq News reported.
Al-Falih is leading a high-level delegation of government and private sector officials to China to strengthen the strategic economic partnership.
