MSCI will implement today, Aug. 26, its changes to the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul)in line with its periodic index review announced on Aug. 7.
As required by global index managers, the changes will be executed during the closing auction and the trade-at-close session.

MSCI added Derayah Financial, Fakeeh Care, Cenomi Retail, The Power and Water Utility Company for Jubail and Yanbu (MARAFIQ), Taiba Investments, and Zamil Industrial to the Small Cap Index, while Alamar Foods, Halwani Bros, Nayifat Finance, Northern Cement, Tanmiah Food, and Thob Al Aseel were removed.

With these adjustments, the number of Saudi companies included in the MSCI Global Standard Index rose to 40, while the MSCI Small Cap Index now includes 92 companies.
